Our Brand scores, which are rated on a scale up to 10, are based on our weighted formula considering 3 parameters: Brand Visibility, User Engagement and Products & Services scores.
Our User Engagement score is calculated based on the number of clicks a brand's chart listing has received in the past seven days. The greater the proportion of clicks a specific brand receives relative to the other brands listed on the chart, the higher their user engagement score.
We calculate the User Engagement Score separately for each device (mobile engagement is scored independently of desktop & tablet engagement) and the specific type of product compared.
The brand's chart position is influenced by the compensation we receive from such brand and this also impacts a brand's User Engagement score.
We base our Brand Visibility score on Semrush, which analyzes data such as user behavior, search trends, and user engagement metrics. This process allows us to evaluate a brand's performance and credibility.
If a brand lacks a Semrush score, the Total Score relies solely on the User Engagement score and the Products & Services score.
Our editorial team rates brands based on various factors covering the products & services they offer assigning a score for each parameter. The criteria we use to assess each product's score are detailed on its review page.
If the editorial team cannot locate information relevant to a brand's Products & Services Score, it will not be included in its calculation.
